Willie Anderson listens to the opening arguements of his murder trial on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. Anderson, 19, is accused of first-degree murder after Chuckles Party Store clerk Harinder Singh Kang was shot and killed on Sept. 4, 2006 at the store in Jackson, Mich. His trial was deemed a mistrial due to a hung jury and the prosecution said they will attempt a retrial. On Jan. 8, 2009, Anderson entered a plea of no contest to voluntary manslaughter which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
